VS Code version 1.98.2 (the current version 27/03/2025) crashes when running on a Raspberry Pi.
If you are running VS Code on a Pi then I would refuse updates until this problem has been fixed.
Issue fixed in version 1.99 released today 04/04/2025 - happy coding!
